Airworthiness Directive activity

FAA / EASA public regulatory data

3airworthiness directives affecting this fleet — recurring compliance demand for the parts and shops that serve it
Most recent
  • FAA AD 2026-09-04effective Jun 12, 2026Mixed actions

The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Gulfstream Aerospace LP (GALP) Model Gulfstream G280 airplanes. This AD was prompted by reports of the accumulation of water in electrical connectors located in the aft fuselage directly below the empennage, resulting in empennage flight control related crew alerting system (CAS) messages. This AD requires retrofitting the flight controls empennage electrical harness. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

  • FAA AD 2023-04-02effective Apr 7, 2023Mixed actions

The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Gulfstream Aerospace LP Model Gulfstream G280 airplanes. This AD was prompted by a determination that the existing wet runway performance tables in the airplane flight manual (AFM) may not provide an acceptable level of safety. This AD requires revising the existing AFM to incorporate new wet runway performance tables, as specified in a Civil Aviation Authority of Israel (CAAI) AD, which is incorporated by reference. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

  • FAA AD 2021-17-14effective Oct 14, 2021Mixed actions

The FAA is correcting an airworthiness directive (AD) that was published in the Federal Register. That AD applies to certain Gulfstream Aerospace LP Model Gulfstream G280 airplanes. As published, the document number of the Civil Aviation Authority of Israel (CAAI) AD specified in the preamble and regulatory text is incorrect. This document corrects that error. In all other respects, the original document remains the same.

Directives linked to this airframe family in the FAA / EASA regulatory corpus we have processed — not a complete historical AD list. An AD is a compliance requirement that drives scheduled work (inspections, replacements, modifications) across the fleet; inspection directives are not replacement directives, and none of this is a prediction that any part will fail.
